Before your first event
+What happens if my venue's internet drops?
TourneyStation is a web-based system, so a live connection is needed to update the shared board and send notifications. Keep a current bracket view open or print an export before play begins, then enter any offline results once your connection returns. Your tournament data remains saved in the platform.
+How reliable are SMS notifications?
Match notifications use a registered SMS provider and each send is recorded in the tournament's delivery history. Carriers and phone settings can still affect delivery, so directors can confirm a phone number, review a delivery status, and use the public board as a dependable backup. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out and START to resume messages.
+Can I import my existing roster from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel-style roster, or paste a list directly. You can map participant details, set seeds, and include phone numbers when you want match notifications. Entrant lists can also be exported for your own records.
+What does it cost to switch from my current setup?
Your first full tournament, including SMS notifications, is free with no credit card required. After that, Free Director supports smaller events, a complete single tournament is $12, Director is $30 per month, and Venue Full Service is $45 per month. There is no migration fee - start by importing the roster you already use.
