Terms of use

You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. If you use TourneyStation for a business, venue, league, or tournament organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

Tournament directors are responsible for their events, rules, eligibility decisions, schedules, results, prizes, entrant relationships, and compliance with applicable laws. TourneyStation provides software and is not the organizer, sponsor, referee, or guarantor of an event unless expressly stated.

Notification and reminder features may be used only for tournaments hosted and managed on TourneyStation. Messages must relate directly to a specific TourneyStation event or to a recipient's request for future TourneyStation event alerts from that business or location.

You may use these features for registration confirmations, RSVP and event reminders, schedule or table updates, match-ready notices, result-confirmation links, discrepancy review, cancellations, and closely related operational information.

You may not use TourneyStation messaging for purchased or scraped contact lists, unrelated advertising, general promotional campaigns, political messages, third-party marketing, events managed outside this platform, or any message the recipient did not reasonably agree to receive.

You are responsible for obtaining and documenting legally sufficient consent, honoring opt-outs, keeping contact information accurate, and complying with telecommunications, email, privacy, and anti-spam laws. You must not bypass suppression controls or contact a person through another field or account after they opt out.

Do not use the service to break the law; harass, threaten, deceive, or impersonate anyone; distribute malware; probe or disrupt the service; gain unauthorized access; interfere with another tournament; misuse player links; or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Automated access, excessive messaging, or activity that threatens service reliability may be limited or suspended. AI-assisted actions remain your responsibility and must be reviewed before they affect a live event.

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of entrant information you enter or import. You must limit collection to information reasonably needed to operate the event and protect any exported data.

Depending on event settings, tournament names, dates, locations, entrant names, brackets, match status, and standings may be displayed publicly. Directors must configure visibility appropriately and obtain any notices or permissions required from participants.

Prices, included features, tournament limits, and messaging allowances are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Single-tournament purchases are one-time purchases. Subscription plans renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until canceled through the billing portal.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize applicable charges, taxes, and recurring payments. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, charges for activated or used service periods are non-refundable. Failed or disputed payments may restrict new tournaments or paid features, although we may avoid interrupting an event already in progress.

Carrier, recipient, connectivity, and third-party provider conditions can delay or prevent message delivery. A plan's inclusion of notifications does not guarantee delivery to every recipient.

TourneyStation and its software, design, and platform content are owned by TourneyStation or its licensors. You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, and back up that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, internet failures, device issues, third-party services, and events outside our control may affect availability. We may update, add, limit, or discontinue features, and will provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly affects a paid service.

We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, unlawful conduct, messaging abuse, security threats, material breach of these Terms, or activity that risks harm to recipients, users, providers, or the platform. You may stop using the service and cancel a subscription through the billing portal. Provisions that logically survive termination-including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and limitations-will continue.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. TourneyStation is not responsible for tournament disputes, injuries, prizes, venue conditions, director decisions, or recipient carrier charges.

To the extent permitted by law, TourneyStation will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid TourneyStation during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
